NOCK, for you and for your agent.

NOCK watches the venues where on-chain money sits and warns before a position is caught in a run, an exploit's second wave or a copy-trade trap. Use it on nock.lat, get alerts in Telegram, or hand it to Claude Code, Codex or any MCP client and ask in plain words.

01What NOCK does

NOCK is a watch, not a trading bot. It reads money moving through a fixed list of venues on Ethereum, Arc, Robinhood Chain and Solana, compares each day with that venue's own normal, and says in plain words when something is wrong. Every reading comes from Nansen.

  • Runs and exploit spread

    When a venue is hacked or its depositors panic, money leaves in a pattern: many wallets withdrawing at once, well past that venue's normal day. NOCK reads those flows from Nansen and raises Watch, then Run. When the trouble is in collateral that other markets accept, it raises Contagion on those markets too, because the second wave is where most people lose money.

  • Copy-trade traps

    A wallet with a great record buys a token in public. Followers copy it. Sometimes a group of wallets had bought minutes before and sells into the followers' buying. The copy check measures exactly that: who bought first, how much they sold within 30 minutes and 24 hours, and whether buyers kept arriving after.

  • Getting out in time

    A guard is a small contract you own that holds your vault deposit. When NOCK raises Run or Contagion on that vault, NOCK's keeper calls exit(), which can only send the money back to you. If the vault is short of cash it takes what is there and returns for the rest.

Past events NOCK was tested against are on Replays, each drawn from recorded Nansen data with the moment NOCK would have warned.

02Quick start

  1. Sign in with an EVM or Solana wallet. Signing a message proves the wallet is yours; it moves nothing and costs nothing.
  2. Your dashboard shows the live board and any positions your wallets hold in watched venues.
  3. In Workspace, add up to 20 more EVM wallets to watch, link Telegram, and create a key for your agent.

Every account is Free: 50 Nansen credits a day, shared by the site and the MCP, reset at 00:00 UTC. Reading one wallet's positions uses about 3; a copy check uses up to 20. The board and alerts cost you nothing. Pro is coming.

03Telegram alerts

In Workspace or Alerts, press Link Telegram (or ask your agent to run nock_link_telegram). Open the link and press Start in @Nock_alertBot. From then on, when a venue you hold or follow turns to Run or Contagion, you get one message with the reason and a link to the venue. The link works once and expires in 30 minutes.

04Add NOCK to your agent

The NOCK MCP server lives at https://nock.lat/mcp. It speaks streamable HTTP and signs in with a key from your workspace, so your agent works on your account and nobody else's. Create a key per agent; revoke one without touching the others.

Claude Code

Run once in your terminal.

claude mcp add --transport http nock https://nock.lat/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_NOCK_KEY"

Codex

Codex reads the key from an environment variable, so it never sits in a config file.

export NOCK_API_KEY=YOUR_NOCK_KEY
codex mcp add nock --url https://nock.lat/mcp --bearer-token-env-var NOCK_API_KEY

Cursor, Windsurf and other clients

Add this to the client's MCP settings file.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "nock": {
      "url": "https://nock.lat/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_NOCK_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

Replace YOUR_NOCK_KEY with the key shown once when you create it.

NOCK tells the agent its rules: never move funds, say the price before paying, report stale data as stale, and describe what wallets did, never who owns them.

06Example prompts

  • “Is anything I hold on NOCK's watch list in trouble right now?”

    nock_positions, nock_status

  • “Watch 0x… as 'treasury' and tell me if any of its positions sit in a venue on Watch or worse.”

    nock_watch_wallet, nock_positions

  • “Before I copy this wallet into this Solana token, check whether a group bought first and dumped on the people who followed.”

    nock_copy_check

  • “Link my Telegram to NOCK and follow the Arc venues.”

    nock_link_telegram, nock_follow_venue

  • “What did NOCK alert me about this week, and did my guard do anything?”

    nock_alerts, nock_guards

  • “I'm out of free credits. What would another copy check cost, and how would you pay for it?”

    nock_pay_per_call

07Pay per call

Past the free credits, your agent can buy a copy check or a positions read for $0.02 in USDC per call, from its own wallet. Payment is x402 through Circle Gateway: the agent signs a USDC authorization, Circle verifies it, NOCK runs the read, and only then is the payment settled. A read that fails is never charged, and a payment that does not settle gets no result.

Paid calls settle on Arc. To give an agent a wallet, set up a Circle agent wallet with Circle's CLI and fund its Gateway balance, then let the agent inspect a route before it pays:

POST https://nock.lat/pay/check

A copy-trade check: did a group buy before this wallet and sell into the people who followed?

Paid route: POST https://nock.lat/pay/check ($0.02 per call, USDC, x402 through Circle Gateway).
1. circle services inspect "https://nock.lat/pay/check" --output json (confirms price, accepted chain and schema)
2. circle services pay "https://nock.lat/pay/check" -X POST --address <your agent wallet> --chain <chain from inspect> --max-amount 0.02 --data '{"chain":"solana","wallet":"<wallet you would copy>","token":"<token it bought>"}' --output json
Tell the user the price before paying.

POST https://nock.lat/pay/positions

Which of a wallet's holdings sit in venues NOCK watches, with each venue's live reading.

Paid route: POST https://nock.lat/pay/positions ($0.02 per call, USDC, x402 through Circle Gateway).
1. circle services inspect "https://nock.lat/pay/positions" --output json (confirms price, accepted chain and schema)
2. circle services pay "https://nock.lat/pay/positions" -X POST --address <your agent wallet> --chain <chain from inspect> --max-amount 0.02 --data '{"address":"<EVM wallet>"}' --output json
Tell the user the price before paying.

08What NOCK cannot do

  • Beat a single-transaction drain. When a hack empties a venue in one block or a few minutes, no watcher is that fast. NOCK is for what follows: the run, and the spread to markets that took the same collateral.
  • Watch exchanges' own wallets. When a centralised exchange loses funds, what happens next is its decision, not a chain's.
  • Guard Solana positions. They are watched and alerted; guards run on EVM networks.
  • Tell you who owns a wallet. Levels describe what wallets did. Nothing here is financial advice.
